Vegan Avocado Hummus

Avocado Hummus with Hippie Snacks Crisps

This hummus is so creamy, fluffy and delicious. It only takes less than 15 minutes to make and you won’t need to buy store bought hummus that could contain preservatives in it!

Avocado Hummus

Yield: 2 cups


  • 398 ml canned chickpeas

  • 1 avocado, peeled and pitted

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 cup sesame tahini oil

  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

  • 3/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 4-5 tbsp cold water

  • Juice of 1 lemon


  1. our food processor, first blend your olive oil, sesame tahini oil, garlic, sea salt, ground cumin, cold water and lemon juice until smooth.

  2. Then add in your chickpeas and avocado and blend again until smooth and creamy. You may season with more salt, as needed.

  3. Serve with fresh vegetables and crackers and enjoy!
